Upper Normandy is a former historic region in northern France, it is now part of Normandy. Rouen is the regional capital home to the tallest cathedral tower in France.

The modern Church of St. Joan of Arc honours the site when she was burned at the stake in 1431. The famous impressionist artist Claude Monet painted his piece water lilies in Upper Normandy.
