We love the bedroom, with its large windows that open to a quintessentially Parisian Juliet balcony – the large corner wardrobe is a bonus, too. The open-plan living room layout makes for enjoyable communal cooking, and there are plenty of supermarkets nearby to pick up ingredients. Just a short walk away, you can hop on the RER or metro line into the centre – but we think the 17th arrondissement is worth a wander. Home to leafy promenades and pretty parks, this is a sought-after residential area – it won't take long for it to feel like home.
