If you prefer a quieter side of Paris, this laid-back apartment in the 12th arrondissement offers just that – greenery on your doorstep, with the metro a ten-minute walk away. There’s room for eight, though it’s best suited to six, leaving space to properly unwind after a long day out exploring the city. Set beside the Bois de Vincennes and surrounded by local cafés and markets, it’s the kind of neighbourhood you may not feel the need to leave.

*You'll only find two bathrooms here, one of which is en-suite, so getting ready as a full group may take a bit of organising.
*There’s no air-conditioning here, so if you’re visiting in peak summer and are sensitive to the heat, it may not be the best fit.

*The nearest metro station is less than a ten-minute walk away.
*Though there's enough bed space for eight people here, including the sofa bed, we think it might feel a little cramped. We'd recommend a maximum guest count of six.
