We also found it impossible not to fall for the balcony, which looks down onto the wide boulevards below. If you need to work during your stay, there's a fantastic office space painted in a rich red and laden with instruments in case you fancy a musical interlude between emails. If, however, you are here to explore the French capital, this is an ideal spot — the sprawling art collection in the Musée Jacquemart-André is about a minutes' walk, while the Arc de Triomphe can be reached in a quarter of an hour.
