Want to be in the heart of Paris? If so, this apartment is a great find. It's a short walk from all the major landmarks – including the Louvre, The Centre Pompidou, and Notre Dame – and you'll have a bevvy of restaurants and bars at your fingertips. Though on the smaller side (especially with the sofa bed in use), it's elegant and contemporary. The kitchen is compact but well-appointed, the bedrooms have a desk for remote working, and it's centrally located – just how we like our Parisian getaways.

Home truths:
*Though a sofa bed can sleep guests five and six, we think this apartment is a better fit for four people. It's quite small, and the living area is particularly compact.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair upon request.
*Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay. This is a very lively area, so if you prefer peace and quiet, this may not be your cup of tea.
