This beautiful home with its quaint wooden shutters, feature fireplace and wooden beams is utterly charming. At its heart, an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is the perfect place for making memories with loved ones. In colder months, gather for a hearty breakfast around the dining table as the fire crackles and glows beside you. When it’s time to put your feet up, the generous corner sofa ensures there’s plenty of space for all to snuggle and recount tales of the day’s adventures.

Our favourite spot here has to be the garden. It’s just the place to retreat to when you need a little quiet time. Settle down on a sun lounger with a glass of French wine and a good book, and get lost in a story for a few hours. In such a tranquil setting and with the quiet of nature surrounding you, it’s a blissful way to spend the day. As evening starts to call, you may decide to gather everyone for a spot of alfresco dining, where you can watch the sky dance through an array of colours as the sun slowly starts its descent.

When it’s time to tear yourself away from this quiet retreat, take a ten-minute stroll and you’ll find yourself on the beautiful 7km sandy stretch of Berneuf beach. Sink your feet into the sand and take in a deep breath of sea air, as calmness washes over you. You’ll never want to leave.
