The Old Stable is a charming cottage attached to the owner's home near the village of Far Forest in Worcestershire. It plays host to a double bedroom and a shower room, sleeping two people altogether. There is also a kitchen and a living/dining room with an electric coal-effect fire and a sofa bed, while the outdoor space plays host to lockable bike storage, off-road parking for one car and an enclosed garden at the front with patio furniture, as well as additional seating in the owner's orchard. Area
This small village rests just south of the Wyre Forest National Nature Reserve and has a handy shop and pub, while the nearby town of Kidderminster offers many more high street amenities and a whole wealth of others things to see and do. Fun-packed days of adventure can be spent at Go Ape atop the giant Douglas Firs and you can journey on the Severn Valley Railway to the Shropshire town of Bridgnorth. There is also the West Midlands Safari Park and the cathedral city of Worcester within easy reach.

Region
A E Houseman once wrote that Shropshire was “the quietest place under the sun” and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.

Note: There are steep stairs and sloped ceilings within this property and even though it is all ground floor, there are two steps and a low doorway into the bedroom. Note: There is a shared utility room with the owner outside with a washing machine. Note - slightly narrow entrance into shower.
