This detached former stable is in the village of Hanley William near to Tenbury Wells. This luxurious property can sleep four people in two double bedrooms, one with en-suite and the there is an additional bathroom. The rest of the cottage consists of an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric fire. Outside there is off road parking for 3 cars, lockable bike storage and a private garden with patio and wood-fired hot tub. This outstanding property is ideal for a romantic break or for couples looking to explore the area.

Two bedrooms: 1 x king-size double, 1 x ground floor king size, zip link (twin on request) with en-suite shower, basin and WC. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric flame-effect fire. Boot room.

Area
The scattered village of Hanley William is surrounded by beautiful Worcestershire countryside, crisscrossed with an abundance of walks and bridleways with the Worcestershire Way and Three Rivers Ride close by. The Fox, a black and white village pub serves great food while many other traditional pubs and restaurants can be found nearby.

Region
Visitors to the Cotswolds have long treasured memories of charming towns and villages built from the famous honey-coloured stone, it now boasts a thriving community of contemporary artists working from studios and shops throughout the area.

We have had such a lovely week in this beautiful cottage. The scenery is amazing, the hosts are wonderful and so friendly. Our dogs loved wondering around and enjoying the freedom. The most magical place, so peaceful and relaxing, couldn't ask for more.

Truly amazing place I'd actually say a touch of luxury. Beautiful birthday basket for my wife's 50th and the surroundings are so beautiful. Wood burning hot tub is so relaxing the accomodation is spotless you will not find anything out of place. Thank you Belinda for an amazing birthday weekend.

Facilities really good, lovely cottage and location was great.. Cottage was clean and well equipped and an amazing welcome basket was provided. I would advise that it is likely you need to drive to visit local pubs, a few are within walking distance but mostly closed in the day or not a suitable walk with dogs. Lots of walks are provided on laminated cards which is helpful! Plus a vast woodland on site which is lovely to explore. Really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

Welcome hamper lovely and the location was absolutely outstanding.. Great hosts and we had a brilliant interesting and relaxing week. Great variety of pubs and restaurants close by and some quaint villages. Bats over the hot tub not ideal but that is the countryside for you. Would definitely go again.

We've just come back from a fabulous week at Stable Cottage.. The cottage was lovely & there were lots of extra little touches like the welcome pack which also included treats for our dog. There were lovely walks straight from the house, one was down to a lovely stream and they had even given directions for all the walks available from there. Very useful when you don't know the area! It was so peaceful here, just a perfect break from everything. Lots of lovely places to visit nearby. We would definitely love to come back as we would love to see it at a different time of the year.

We had a fantastic weekend in this gorgeous cosy cottage in a fabulous location.. They had thought of everything especially where dogs are concerned. The cottage is in lovely private grounds and next to some woods so you are straight into some lovely walks. The cottage is so well equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing, stress free break. We will definitely go back sometime!

We have just returned from a lovely relaxing stay at Stable Cottage. There was a lovely welcome basket on our arrival that included fresh fruit juice, jam, eggs and cake. The cottage was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for the week. It is in a peaceful location where you can enjoy the tranquil surroundings and use as a base for exploring a little further a field. We stayed as 2 couples with dogs and enjoyed walks on the door step, around the property as well as many bridal paths and footpaths nearby. We made use of the hot tub on a few nights and was able to sit out under the stars, the hot tub is heated by a wood burner and can take around 4 hours to reach temperature. Wood is provided for an initial use in the hot tub but more can be purchased on site if needed. The beds are comfy, it is very peaceful on a night so a great nights sleep, we have definitely left feeling well rested. The owners are close by if needed. We did struggle to get any phone signal or Wi-Fi while at the cottage so it is worth researching day trips, places to eat, etc beforehand. There are quite a few pubs within driving distance but it is worth noting that most are closed on a Monday when not in peak season.

Lovely, relaxing place, lovely to have the welcome pack and the quirky wood fired hot tub.. We enjoyed reading the information about the animals and the guided walks. Great that dogs are welcome, though it could be improved by having an enclosed outside space: we had to tether our retired greyhound up when outside to stop her running off as she has no recall skills. The internet access is not as advertised, we didn't really get any access for our stay and had planned to complete a project when there but were not able to do so.

We have just returned from a very relaxing long weekend at stable cottage. The setting is idyllic and very dog friendly. We had many long walks with the dogs. There are laminated cards with all the walks on these were very useful. The cottage is immaculate and the owners have thought of every detail needed for your stay. It was really welcoming with lovely tasteful decor throughout. The welcome pack was full of tasty goodies all of a high standard. The only disappointment was that we never got to use the hot tub as the weather was a bit too cold . Thank you Mike & Belinda for a wonderful weekend hopefully we will return sometime soon.

Brilliant cottage within a large area of woodland with lots of planned walks or you can walk anywhere on the large estate.. There were four adults plus two dogs staying in the cottage we all enjoyed our stay immensely

This was a fantastic break, set in a very quiet and rural area, yet close enough to visit all the great sites Worcestershire and Shropshire have to offer.. The property was great and the wood fired hot tub a god send, used it every day. Some great walks around the estate which are vizsla loved... local pub is about 3 miles away, the Tally Ho! Takes approx 1 hr to walk if you use the road and about 50 minutes cross country. Would definitely return, although we are hoping to permanently move to the area next year!

We had a great time at stable cottage the owners Belinda and Mike were very helpful.. The welcome basket went down a treat all local produce ,the area was so tranquil heaven on earth a perfect retreat . Ideal walks for our dog and the hot tub a real bonus. Would recommend stable cottage most highly. Only one draw back the garden is not enclosed so if you have a dog you cannot leave outside as they can escape . A great holiday cottage and lovely surroundings.. We went in the winter which was really nice, but in the summer it would be even nicer! Lots of walks to do around the area and we went to a lovely pub-restaurant called The Baiting House in a nearby village which we would recommend. The only thing we found a little annoying was the internet situation. The phone service is very poor in the area and you are only given 2gb of free wifi through 4G. Once this has run out you then have to purchase more which is a bit costly and runs out very quickly if several people using it. If you know you will need internet throughout your stay then just be prepared to spend a bit. The wood-burning hot tub was also a nice 'country' touch on a cold winter evening, however it was a bit of a pain having to keep putting more wood in it and it definitely took us more than 4 hours to heat up from cold. Other than these two minor details, the cottage itself is fantastic and has everything you need for a great week/weekend away! The hosts are lovely too and left us a nice hamper of homemade goodies as a welcome gift.

All things considered, this is a lovely little cottage. The cottage itself is beautiful and finished to a very high standard and is very well equipped. A lovely welcome basket is provided, ours had local high quality jams, bread and apple juice amongst other things that were lovely. A small amount of Milk and teabags etc were also provided. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. This cottage is very dog friendly and has a selection of lovely walks on the doorstep. Both bedrooms are large and well equipped with very comfy beds. The whole place was exeptionally clean. My only (small) criticism was that it stated that pubs were within walking distance- they aren’t really, there’s a small local hall that doubles up as a pub on Friday and sat night but I wouldn’t personally call it a pub! You can probably nip out for a drink or two but not a pub as such.. anything else is too far to walk and along quite treacherous roads to walk down, very small and narrow, especially in the dark. Also it said the hot tub would be drained and refilled during our stay and it wasn’t when we stayed for a long weekend, but not sure if they meant for longer stays. The hot tub is fresh water and fuelled with logs, was lovely the first night but without chemicals, could have done with freshening up after 3 days. There is also a limit on the WiFi which is chargeable which is not stated clearly in the ad. Other than that it is a lovely little place and I would definitely go again.

Advertised as having WiFi / Internet connection which, although correct the actual connectivity is limited and has intermittent availability.. This was advised by the owners during our stay and didn't affect our time at the cottage.

The cottage is homely and fitted out to the highest standard. The owners are very approachable and charming and have ensured that the location is very dog friendly. Firing up the wood burning hot tub,sitting in it and enjoying the sight and sounds of the adjoining forest was a highlight of our stay.
