There were many things that made us enjoy our stay at Apple Tree Cottage.. Here are just a few:
• the hosts were extremely friendly. We turned up much later than planned and they were nothing but courteous about it. Their goodbye text was a really nice touch and mentioned our daughter which always gains a gold star in our eyes
• nice touches are a theme in the cottage. Fresh flowers in rooms, welcome pack of homemade marmalade, cake, eggs etc which all tased delicious and from a local farm
• accuracy of their property. It did exactly what it said on the tin withheld no nasty surprises. The cottage is so beautifully quaint with a very vibrant and pretty garden is was hard to leave and do things outside of the cottage
• the village itself was super friendly. We attended the local flower festival in the church next door where you think we’d have loved there all our lives. The pub across the road the coach and horses were the same where we had some good chats about their local ale and tasted their amazing food
• location wise we were smack bang where you need to be if you want to visit all the local villages in the Cotswolds, all just a short 20-40min drive. These were villages like Bourton on the water, Broadway, Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow on the wold, Stratford, Cheltenham and many more
• Sykes as a company sent some useful info through on emails as well and reminders of what we needed to do on the build up to the holiday
All in all very impressed and will definitely visit Apple Tree Cottage again. What a delight!
