Thornton has shops, pubs and restaurants, and a café which is in the building where the Brontë sisters were born, before they moved to nearby Haworth where you can now visit their home. Just a short drive into Bradford, with its wealth of shops, bars and eateries and stunning architecture. You can also easily reach the Yorkshire Dales National Park which offers scenic walking and cycling routes.

The off road parking is around the corner from property, then you will walk through a set of iron gates into a garden area toward the property. Communal front lawn with furniture, and private gravelled area with shed for bike storage. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 0.1 miles, pub 0.2 miles

A genuinely lovely cottage on a quirky street. It's really restful with nearby pubs and tourist attractions for entertainment. It's perfectly located for Halifax and Bradford. The view of the viaduct is gorgeous. I spent a lot of time in the garden (I was lucky to have sun but think it must be cute in the snow). The cottage is clean and comfortable with everything you'd need for a short stay.

We stayed there for a month whilst waiting for keys to our new house, the place and area is beautiful , the cottage itself has everything you need and is spotlessly clean . You feel like you are miles from anywhere so peaceful and quiet yet just a 5 minute walk away you have everything you need including pubs, cafes a supermarket and takeaways , some amazing scenery on our walks with our dog . The owners are absolutly lovely and will help in any way they can if need be , also the neighbours are very friendly and helpful especialy Mary next door shes a lovely lady , cant wait to visit again , a truly lovely relaxing place

All the rooms are clean and smell wonderful. They went extra mile with a little basket of goodies. Pet friendly The only thing they should consider putting a coat rack close to the entrance, there isn't a place to hang up your wet jacket. Apart from that no complain. Highly recommended.
