Area
Luddenden is a conservation village in Calderdale, close to Hebden Bridge. Nearby, the town of Hebden Bridge is home to the Rochdale Canal and a Victorian railway station. The town of Mytholmroyd is an easy drive away. Enjoy scenic drives and cycling across the moors, whilst nearby Haworth boasts the Parsonage Museum. This is excellent walking country, with the National Trust Hardcastle Crags and the Pennine Way in easy reach.

From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer?

Fabulous holiday home.. The owner was easily at hand had we needed anything. Lovely welcome pack which was nice and appreciated after our long journey. The property was well equipt especially the kitchen. Stunning views from the property and walks nearby. Our sat nav took us down some very narrow roads which i would have preferred to have avoided. We were attracted to this property because of the excellent reviews which were accurate.

Wow! What a fantastic find this little cottage was.. Everything about it, from the views outside to the fully equipped kitchen were fabulous. The wonderful little hamper of Wine, bread, eggs, butter etc that awaits you when you arrive was very welcomed and a lovely touch. The owners are super friendly and basically leave you to enjoy your stay. There is lots of useful information in the cottage from local walks and places of interest to how to use the log burner! The beds are super comfy and we had plenty of towels. All in all a fantastic stay. We will definitely return.

Had a lovely stay at Ivy Cottage being very convenient for visiting family.. The views are outstanding. Cottage very well equipped, warm, spacious and comfortable.

We have stayed at Ivy Cottage numerous times . It is a beautiful cottage with great facilities. Plenty of room, dual fuel stove, modern well equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms. The owner is really friendly and was always available when needed. The best thing about the cottage is the view. It's absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend the cottage to anyone

This is quite a large cottage with plenty of room for 2 people in a quiet rural area.. The view from the front of the cottage, and from the conservatory, is incredibly beautiful. The owner, Stephen, was there to welcome us upon arrival and show us around the cottage. There was a welcome hamper waiting in the kitchen, with milk and butter in the fridge. There are narrow lanes in the area and walking is the best way to explore the locality and nearby village.

A delightful, homely cottage with a real farmhouse feel.. Exceptionally well equipped and comfortable. Ideally situated in breathtakingly beautiful countryside, with views to die for. Within easy reach of villages such as Haworth and Hebden Bridge which showcase Yorkshire at its best. The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating and provide a very generous welcome pack. Local shop 5minutes walk; supermarkets, good pubs and restaurants a short drive. We loved our stay at Upper Highlees Farm and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the rugged Pennine district of Yorkshire. What's not to like? Thank you Sykes Cottages for helping us to find this little gem of a retreat.
