Hailed by some as Suffolk's answer to Atlantis, the beautiful village of Dunwich, once a thriving medieval port is a truly special holiday destination made up of forest, heath, and beach, at National Trust Dunwich Heath.

As well as being a walkers and cyclists paradise, just a short drive from Dunwich you will find RSPB Minsmere where you can spend a day spotting some of the UK's rarest birds and wildlife including the avocet, bittern, otter, and red deer. Highly recommended is a short trip to Southwold with its pier, an array of shops, pubs.
