Area eiston is located in the heart of the Suffolk Heritage Coast, with excellent connections to the popular seaside towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh. In the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, the town thrived by producing steam tractors and cast and machined metal products. Many of the workers from the nearby power plant, Sizewell, now live in the town, which is well served by an active leisure centre and the oldest purpose-built cinema in Suffolk, which now offers the latest digital 3D projection systems!
