The Hayloft Cottage is a brick and timber barn conversion, set just under a mile from the village of Little Glemham, near Saxmundham, and can sleep five people. The cottage has a ground floor twin bedroom (zip/link, can be king-size double on request) with an en-suite shower room, a ground floor family room with three single beds (2 x zip/link, can be king-size double and 1 single on request) with an en-suite bathroom, a first floor open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area and a shared utility room. Outside there is ample off road parking, a shared lawned garden with patio, pond, furniture and a barbecue (available on request) and a games room. The Hayloft Cottage is a wonderful holiday base.

Area
The charming Suffolk village of Little Glenham offers a pub that serves excellent meals, walks, cycle routes, as well as Glemham Hall, an historic house and gardens, which hosts regular events throughout the year. The quaint town of Wickham Market is within easy reach and here you will find shops, pubs, tea rooms and a weekly market, plus the historic town of Woodbridge is within driving distance.

Region
Picturesque rolling Fens, unspoilt beaches, and pretty waterways - East Anglia is a dream holiday destination. Norfolk offers beaches, saltmarshes and quaint villages whilst equally as charming are the coast and countryside of Suffolk.

Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Ample off road parking. Shared lawned garden with patio, pond, furniture and BBQ (available on request). Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1.5 miles, pub 20 mins walk. Note: Large unfenced pond in shared garden, children and pets to be supervised. Note: WiFi can be slow.

As previous visitors we had an understanding of what to expect and these expectations were again met.. The COVID 19 measures taken to protect guests were welcome and extensive without being intrusive. Everything was as expected and arranged, and we were checked on within an hour of our arrival to find out if everything was ok. Always a peaceful escape from 'reality' Ore Valley Cottages are the only place I have returned to multiple times. Highly recommended.

Nothing else comes to mind - everything was as expected, well-equpipped and arrangements worked well.. I couldn't find a user guide for the cooker, but that wasn't a particular problem. Was there a vacuum cleaner on site? - I was going to hoover the carpets etc before leaving but couldn't find one around.

Hayloft Cottage is perfectly located for exploring East Suffolk and the coast.. The upstairs lounge and kitchen are roomy and homely with good furniture. The bedrooms are on the small side but very comfortable with good sized en suite bath/shower rooms. The online description of Hayloft is accurate.

One criticism only.. Hot water taps in 3 hand basins were seriously furred up and almost impossible to turn on. Otherwise this was an excellent facility in beautiful surroundings filling all our expectations of rural peace, places of interest to visit and lots of wildlife

The standard of the cottages was very much appreciated by us.. What a lovely surprise to arrive after a long day of travelling to such an idyllic gem in a lovely location. We'd love to come back when we have more time to enjoy the area. We did a baking course in Kenton Hall which was great fun! We left three bread and butter puddings in the fridge as we couldn't travel with them!! Thank you for a wonderful stay, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Dawn & friends.

All descriptions of the cottage were accurate.. The most enjoyable surprise was the lovely location and surroundings,the cottage was also very warm and cosy,which was extreme.ly welcome in view of the .cold grey wet week of weather we had.

The setting of the cottage is idyllic with the beautiful lake and the fact that the owners have planted so many flowers in the courtyard.. The house is lovely & cosy with great facilities. We really enjoyed playing table tennis in the evening! Could do with thinner duvets in the triple room for the warmer months.

We loved the open space of the living room/kitchen.. It was a great space for us to interact as a family and had plenty of seating for everyone to relax, yet still managed to feel warm and cosy. Bedrooms were a good size. A good base for discovering the area. Internet was a bit slow which might bother some (but not us)

Overall it was excellent - surroundings, comfort, welcome pack, quality of furnishings and equipment.. We were surprised to find faults in the one bathroom, which we would expect to have been known and resolved earlier, but as soon as we reported them they were repaired and everything was fine. We would recommend the property to anyone thinking of visiting the area.

We had a lovely stay in this very comfortable cottage. Most things provided that are needed for a weeks stay and all very clean. Dogs are made very welcome even if you have two which is not always available. The only thing that stopped me giving 5 stars is only one wardrobe between the two bedrooms. I would recommend this cottage to families or couples.

The Cottage was in a beautiful setting in a great area. The owners were friendly and helpful but did not get in our way. The grounds are phenomenal and my kids loved rowing on the pond.
