Bramley Lodge is a detached luxury chalet in the village of Hewish near Weston-super-Mare. The lodge sleeps six people and has one king-size double with en-suite shower, two twin bedrooms and a family bathroom. There is an open plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area which opens onto a balcony. There's also ample off road parking. Situated in the grounds of the owner's property and overlooking a coarse fishing lake, Bramley Lodge is a lovely family home to be enjoyed at any time of the year.

All ground floor. Three bedrooms: 1 x king-size double with TV and en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x twin, 1 x 2 6 twin. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric fire.

Area
The traditional seaside town of Weston-super-Mare offers awarding-winning sandy beaches, donkey rides, watersports, restaurants and shops, as well as the Playhouse, Winter Gardens and the Grand Pier. Burnham and Berrow Championship Golf Course is also close by. Sand Bay, just 2 miles away offers an unspoilt beach allowing dog walking and horse riding all year round, plus Sand Point and Middle Hope, owned by the National Trust and open free to the public are near by. The famous Cheddar Caves and Gorge, with amazing cliff top walks, is only a short drive away, as are historic Wells, England's smallest city and Glastonbury Tor, with its connections to King Arthur.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Decked balcony with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 2 miles, pub 10 mins walk. Note: Although all ground floor, this property isnt suitable for wheelchair users. Note: Unfenced lake next to lodge, children to be supervised at all times. This property does not allow bookings for groups of workers

Bramley Lodge over looks a fishing lake.. Wait for the wildlife to arrive, heron, green woodpecker, coots, magpies, wren, not forgetting two friendly geese. They come to say 'Hello' each time you go out onto the verandah. Scenery wonderful, position, quiet, peaceful, just relax unwind and enjoy. Collected sloes for jam, and just to walk around the lake is magical, watch the fish jump. We will be going back. June & John

We are 3 middle aged married couples and we booked because of the on site fishing lake. Super lodge. Very clean and modern. Excellent location if you like a bit of peace and quiet. Very safe. We left our fishing gear outside the lodge with no worries of anything being touched. Fishing is good. Not over fished. The only people who can fish it are the people staying in the lodges and there are only 4 lodges. We caught Carp, Roach, Bream, Perch, Rudd and even one Eel. Very handy for a trip to Weston Supermare. Only 15 minutes away. Nice pub within walking distance (15 mins). Really enjoyed sitting out on the veranda with a beer overlooking the lake. Might be a bit too quiet for some but we loved it.

The lodge was fabulous, the fishing was great and it was very quiet.. Absolutely loved the holiday.

Really enjoyed our stay for my husbands 50th and he had a great time fishing.. It was nice to have the lake nearby that he could pop back for a cuppa. The lodge was very comfortable clean and everything you could think of. We will be booking again.

A wonderful retreat for your holiday with everything you could wish for.. A spacious home from home, extremely well fitted out with a great outlook onto a lake with two beautiful geese. Also in a great location. Owners who care about their lodges and their customers. I would definitely recommend and would be happy to come back to stay.

I would just like to say the reason I graded it lower on the value for money is that I find it very unfair when the price gets increased dramatically due to the school holidays.. Also the reason I wouldn't book it again is because I have seen all I wish to visit around that area of Somerset.

The lodge more than met our expectations, it had everything you could need for a self catering holiday.. It was very high standard and although it was within easy reach of local tourist attractions it was in a very peaceful location. The lake was well looked after and it was lovely to wake up to the view. The owners were very pleasant but not intrusive however they were at the end of a phone if needed. All in all a very pleasant weeks holiday
