Lympsham is a great place to start if you want a relaxing escape because it provides all the necessities, like a village store and a public cricket pavilion that is licenced. The village is home to a Grade I listed church built in the fifteenth century, as well as a manor house, manor hall, and other buildings. Lympsham is close to the River Axe, which was historically used as a port as suggested by the name of the pub, The Hobbs Boat Inn, and is situated close to East Brent, Brent Knoll, and Brent Knoll.
