One well behaved pet welcome but note this is a remote rural area so please do not leave your pet unsupervised in the enclosed garden. The town is known for its renowned annual Real Ale Festival, Tandem Triathlon, and boasts a wide selection of shops, pubs, restaurants, and festivals throughout the year. There is ample opportunity for walkers around the rural Shropshire, the Welsh Marches, and throughout North Herefordshire. Nearby attractions include Powis Castle, the Severn Valley Railway, Acton Scott Historic Working Farm, and Stokesay Castle, you can also visit the neighbouring towns of Montgomery, Ludlow and Shrewsbury.
