The Lymes is a very modern house with everything you need for a comfortable two week stay. It is situated an easy 20 minute walk from the town centre with 3 pubs, an Indian takeaway and a Spar close by. It is set in a very quiet location with no noise coming from the nearby main road. Parking is directly outside the house on a driveway. The house has 3 bedrooms with a very comfortable double bed in the main bedroom. Upstairs bathroom and downstairs cloakroom both very good. Well equipped kitchen and a nice large dining area too. The welcome pack of bread, milk, wine etc. was very welcome thanks. Will definitely book again next time were down this way

We stayed in this lovely, dog-friendly house for a week and honestly couldn't fault it. It is immaculate and had everything we needed. It is only about a 5 / 10 minute drive into Shrewsbury town centre. Thanks.

Fabulous house, very welcoming, clean and fully equipped with lots of extras, which for me was a big bonus - extra hand towels in bathrooms, hand soap, dishwasher tabs etc. The owners have thought of everything! Nice welcome pack on arrival too. The house is apx 1 mile from Shrewsbury centre with a small shop and very good Indian takeaway a 5 minute walk away. A good base to explore the county of Shropshire with lots of things to do and see and lots of restaurants in Shrewsbury to eat out. Would definitely recommend.

Shrewsbury is a delightful town and very central to surrounding counties - Wales to the West is a short journey away, Chester in the North is easily accessed, Ironbridge and Bridgnorth are a short drive away to the East whilst Hereford is a worthwhile visit to the South.. En route to Oswestry, there is the British Ironwork Centre - home to The Knife Angel. Shrewsbury Prison is worth a visit - one of only two in the country which is open to the public. There are ample eateries within the town and surrounding areas. This has been a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday. 7 The Lymes is a very comfortable and well appointed property.

We really enjoyed our stay here.. Despite the cold weather the house was lovely and cosy and warm. It is very clean and well equipped with easy access to Shrewsbury and the surrounding area.The owners left a very thoughtful welcoming pack and it was lovely to stay somewhere so dog friendly .

We had a brilliant stay at the Lymes this new year.. The house is so clean and cosy, plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 dogs. Everything was thought of, even down to shampoo in the bathroom. The welcome pack was lovely too, which meant that we didn't have to pop out straight away to get some milk. We had lots of fun playing on the wii console with plenty of games to choose from. The location is great too, about a 30 min walk into Shrewsbury Town centre. We walked in with the dogs most days and it's a lovely walk. There's also a little shop and great Indian restaurant just down the road too. It really was a great stay and great if you've got dogs too x

Outstanding cleanliness and very thoughtful welcome pack - both well above average.. Super location fairly close to the town centre but surprisingly quiet. We normally go for a 'character' cottage when renting but found the modern facilities actually made our stay more pleasant (particularly with winter creeping in)!
