The Barn is a superb, semi-detached family holiday home, less than a mile from the small village of Cockshutt and five miles from the town of Ellesmere. This cottage sleeps twelve people in five bedrooms, consisting of one super king-size double with en-suite shower, a double with en-suite shower, two further doubles and a ground floor twin with double sofa bed. The cottage also has a kitchen with dining area and comfy seating, a sitting room with electric fire and a bathroom. Outside there's off road parking for five cars and a side lawned garden with patio and benches. The Barn is an excellent base for exploring Shropshire, Cheshire and Wales.

Due to the new rule of 6 the price for this property has been lowered to accept a smaller party. Some of the bedrooms wont be available however you can choose three bedrooms for your stay This will remain in place until the restrictions end

Area
The small village of Cockshutt is surrounded by beautiful Shropshire countryside and has a pub, village hall, primary school and a parish church. Just five miles away is the pretty market town of Ellesmere, which offers Tudor, Georgian and Victorian buildings, a lovely church and a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, and is surrounded by its famous meres. Twelve miles south of Cockshutt is the county town of Shrewsbury, and there's plenty of other attractions, towns and villages within reach.

A E Houseman once wrote that Shropshire was “the quietest place under the sun” and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.

Note: There Is a large, unfenced pond in the garden, children must be supervised at all times. Note: There is a small fish pond close by with Roach and guests are welcome to fish free of charge. Suitable for golf breaks, escorted with or without transport. Local advice is available. Due to the government restrictions, the property has a reduced price until the 15th May 2021 for smaller groups, some of the rooms will be out of use due to this Can be booked with 962453 and 971018 as a group property
