Huglith Farm was one place where the pictures really couldn't do the location justice.. Stunning location and exceptional views, especially from the top of the nearby hill. The location is very rural, so it might add a little time to travel for day trips, but the payoff is a very peaceful location with no traffic noise whatsoever! The only noises you'll hear are from the buzzards, red kites, owls, ravens and the resident cows at the farm. The farm itself is beautifully appointed but also has a very homely quality about it. All the rooms are well proportioned and comfortable.
Thoroughly enjoyed our day trips to Ludlow, Stiperstones, the Long Mynd, Church Stretton, Shrewsbury and Berrington Hall. The Nags Head at Pontesbury was a consistent eatery: all seven in our party enjoyed their meals there on two separate occasions. The owners at Huglith Farm were very welcoming and friendly and provided some nice touches, like freshly picked mushrooms.
Certainly a place I would happily come back to again.
As noted by another user though, it's a shame Sykes Holidays bombard you with daily emails. I enjoyed their holiday but would I want to book a holiday every day from them? Not likely!
But that wouldn't put me off booking again at Huglith Farm.
