The pretty hamlet of Gravels Bank lies in the beautiful Shropshire Hills facing the Stiperstones and just 15 miles from the medieval town of Shrewsbury. Nearby Minsterley boasts a pub, one of the oldest buildings in the village, a shop, Post Office and an excellent fish and chip shop! With Pontesbury just one mile further away offering additional amenities, including takeaways, restaurants, farm shop, Arscott Golf Club, Springlea Fishing Pools and the Pontesbury cycle/footpath. Close by is The Long Mynd, which is a haven for walkers, glider pilots, mountain bikers and wildlife watchers, provides a convenient place to relax and take in the wonderful scenery on offer. One of England's finest heritage towns with over 600 listed buildings, Shrewsbury nestles on a loop of the River Severn.
