Holiday Rental Description

Set in the scenic Shropshire countryside, this cosy home is packed with character. We love the timber beams, exposed stonework, and the inglenook fireplace in the kitchen. We also love how these original features have been paired with modern comforts, like sleek bathrooms and plush bedrooms (and not forgetting the hot tub on the patio). There’s lots to like about the location too – peaceful and secluded yet just 20 miles from Shrewsbury, and a short hop from the Shropshire Hills, which is a haven for hikers.

Home truths:
*While some of the bathrooms aren't photographed, expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
*For those with reduced mobility, there are two bedrooms (one with an en-suite) and a family shower room on the ground floor. There is one step down into the shower room.
*One of the ground floor bedrooms can be set up with either a super-king bed or two singles. Speak to your host in advance if you have a preference.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot, stair gate, and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance and bring your own cot linen.
*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay.
*There’s free parking for up to six cars on the driveway, along with an electric vehicle charging point that's free for guests to use.
