Churchill, Oxfordshire is a short drive away from the ancient town of Chipping Norton. Chipping Norton boasts a popular weekly market, numerous book and antique shops, many cafes, restaurants and pubs serving excellent food and local ales, art galleries, a museum and a thriving theatre. Chipping Norton is surrounded by the pretty limestone villages of the Cotswolds and offers many walks and cycle trails from the town centre, together with a Lido, perfect for a relaxing swim at the end of a busy day.

This cottage is lovely, very clean and well presented.. The location is great for all the main points of interest around and the pub across the road is very nice indeed.

We absolutely loved our stay at Anvil Cottage and we would like to come back for future breaks in the Cotswold.. The cottage was spacious and fully equipped with everything that we needed for the long weekend. Little touches like a small pint of milk and tea bags so we could have a cuppa and candles that we could light in the evenings, just made it that little bit extra helpful and comfortable. We made use of the log burner/fire place and it was just super cosy, perfect for a winter getaway. The instructions to get to Anvil cottage and key collection were also super easy to follow and we made it there without any trouble.

This cottage is a real find, beautiful, great facilities, warm, next to a park and fields, and in the heart of the Cotswolds.. Very highly recommended, but like to go back!

A very clean and comfortable, well maintained, homely, well appointed cottage with many thoughtful touches, fresh flowers, milk in the fridge, toiletries, etc.. In a good, quiet location, ideal for exploring the delightful villages and towns in North Cotswolds. The pub opposite served delicious food and was very welcoming. The very pleasant owners of the cottage were on hand but allowed us privacy. We would definitely stay again.
