Wooler, dubbed "The Gateway to the Cheviots" by locals, features a variety of hotels and restaurants, as well as a fantastic position for visiting Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Wooler is a short drive from the historic town of Alnwick, with its famed Castle and Gardens, and the well-preserved Garrison town of Berwick-upon-Tweed, both of which are located on the fringe of the Northumberland National Park.
