2 Redeswood Cottage is a semi-detached cottage set just outside of Bellingham in Northumberland. It offers two bedrooms; two doubles, as well as a family bathroom, the property can sleep four people. The interior also comes with a kitchen/diner, a utility and a sitting room with an open fire. To the outside you will find plenty of off road parking and a lawn area surrounding the property. 2 Redeswood Cottages is a characterful cottage in a fabulous rural location.

Area
The ‘capital of the North Tyne Valley', Bellingham is a market town with a 12th century church, heritage centre and a waterfall. It’s on the edge of the Northumberland National Park and near Hadrian’s Wall and Kielder Water and Forest. This area offers fishing, horse riding, wildlife and walking. There is a golf course close by and the area has historical sites, stately homes and gardens.

Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian’s Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.

Shop and pub 1 mile.

Lovely cottage, clean, comfortable and homely.. Great utility room perfect for dogs. Scenic walk from your doorstep along the river and fields to Bellingham approx. 1 mile (dogs on leads due to sheep!). Would highly recommend.

One of the best cottages we have rented in years.. Really comfortable and clean. Bottle of fizz and home made cakes a nice touch. Also enough logs and coal for a couple of days but the cottage was warm enough. Lovely location, lots to see and do. If you are lucky enough to have clear skies at night, you are in for a real treat.

We had a wonderful week at the cottage, so peaceful and relaxing and everything was so comfortable and considered.. We took our 2 year old daughter and even the cot and high chair we’re good quality and the cot mattress! Loved every minute of our trip, especially the views out of every window.

No 2 Redeswood is a charming cottage in a very attractive setting.. It is nicely decorated, very comfortable and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The owners had left us a "welcome' pack, which thoughtfully included basic provisions, a very tasty home baked cake and a bottle of fizzy wine. We found it easy to relax here with plenty to of sights to visit and explore nearby when we were feeling energetic. We only planned a short break on this occasion but would be very happy to stay longer if we have the opportunity in future.

The cottage was beautifully appointed, comfortable and felt immediately very welcoming (there were also teas, coffee, milk, cake and a bottle of fizz awaiting us on arrival) with everything we needed for the three of us to have a very relaxing holiday.. The garden was interesting to explore, on several levels, with it's own bridge over a disused railway leading from the back garden to a little wooded area, places to sit and admire the views from the front garden, and you could walk in the adjacent fields from the cottage and across the road down to the river. The owners left great information about the local area, saying that they lived just a short distance away if we needed anything, which we didn't as from our point of view they had pretty much thought of everything! The village just a mile away was very convenient for shopping with a small supermarket, bakers, cafes, takeaway etc and the location we found to be generally excellent as a base to explore, with plenty to do within easy reach - we would certainly like to return, both to the area and the cottage.
