The Coach House is a luxury, semi-detached cottage near Belford in Northumbria. The cottage sleeps ten people in five bedrooms, which are made up of two super king-size doubles, two king-size doubles and a final double room, with four of these have en-suite facilities. There is also a ground floor cloakroom, a bathroom, a kitchen with dining area, a utility, two sitting rooms with a woodburner and a games room with table football and a TV. Outside is off road parking for five cars, a patio with furniture, and guests have shared access to the grounds. The Coach House is a magnificent cottage for a countryside break. Note: There are unfenced streams and lakes in the grounds, children to be supervised. Note: Fishing available on-site, bring own rods and licence is available from local Post Office. The picturesque Northumberland village of Belford lies in the heart of Heritage countryside, midway between the popular walled towns of Alnwick and Berwick-upon-Tweed. The pretty coastal village of Bamburgh, with its sweeping beaches and dramatic castle, is only a short drive away. Belford itself is an old coaching village with a pleasant square and offers a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. It is ideally placed for exploring the Northumbrian Coastal Route, Cheviots, the renowned Northumberland Coastline and the Scottish Borders. The opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from nearby Seahouses, is not to be missed. Alternatively check the tide times and cross to Holy Island to visit the historic Lindisfarne Priory.
