WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels and started pack for woodfired hot tub are all included in the price. Sorry, this property does not accept any children under 18 years old - this includes infants. Also, pets are not allowed at the property. Within 0.4 miles there is a shop and pub. The Sheperds Hut at Bridge Lake Farm & Fishery makes wonderful romantic retreat for a couple. Please note that the car park is approximately 250 meters distance from the property, the path leading to property may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility.

Middleton Cheney, a nearby village set amid the lovely rolling hills of Northamptonshire, is 1.9 miles distant. This fascinating hamlet, which has Neolithic roots, has a stunning Gothic 14th century church and two friendly local taverns dating from the 18th century. A lovely post office with a well-stocked store completes the village, providing all of the necessities for a hassle-free self-catering stay. Bicester Village's famed shopping park, located south of the village, is packed with your favourite businesses and a variety of cafés, making for a wonderful day out.

My partner and I have just come back from 3 nights away at this gorgeous Shephards Hut and we couldn’t have had a better time! Brendan is a great host who greeted us as we pulled up, he took us to our cabin on a golf buggy (saved us lugging all of the other half’s fishing stuff) and the hot tub was already heated ready for us. From al fresco dining to fishing in our own pond, this place has everything to offer. We saw baby deer, crayfish, a million squirrels, four friendly alpacas amongst all other wild life that would make any cosy country retreat feel special. We seldom saw the other guests as all of the lodges are places so perfectly to protect everyone’s privacy. The shower has a good pressure, there are logs on site to keep for your hot tub/bbq and you’re only a 10 minute walk from the pub. The kitchen is fully decked out with anything that you would need to cook three meals a day including a toaster, kettle, induction hobs and all necessary crockery, bowls, sauce pans, mixing bowl - the lot! We’ll be back to catch some crayfish in the pond and throw them on the bbq!

If you are looking to relax for a weekend or a week(s) holiday we highly recommend you stay here. Me and my partner loved our stay within the beautifully lodge and the scenery to go with it! The team were exceptionally helpful from the beginning and made they stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely be returning some time in the future.

Myself and my partner have stayed at the Stepherds Hut at Bridge Lake Farm & Fishery from Friday until Sunday. We wanted a relaxing stay and that is exactly what we got. From when we arrived to when we left, Brendon ( owner ) was very helpful, welcoming and a great host. Anything that we needed or asked for he was there within minutes. The lodge was absolutely beautiful, great facilities and cleanliness. Overlooking the lake, very peaceful and quiet area. Hot tub was easy to use and easy to set up. We loved everything about our stay and we will definitely be returning.

If you are looking for a uncomplicated peaceful break then this is the place for you! The lodge itself was clean well presented and equipped. We were even asked if we would like the hot tub warmed up before our arrival. There are many shops and restaurants less than 15 minutes away by car but when we were sitting around the lake we couldn't feel further away from the hustle and bustle. Brendan our wonderful caretaker was on hand for anything we might need during our week and made sure that we were happy until the very last moment of our stay.

Impeccably clean, beautiful peaceful location stunning views, you will want for nothing and the host is always at the end of the phone if you need him… cannot wait to return soon and will definitely book The Shepards Hut!! 5* plus!!

Upon arrival we were greeted with a lovely gentlemen who helped us take all our luggage on a golf buggy down to the lodge. He explained the use of all the facilities and leisure near by. He was always one call away and never failed to help. Hot tub and bbq was easy to set up and maintain alone and any additional wood can be provided for a small additional charge. All furnishings were modern and to a high spec. Beds were super comfortable with a flat screen smart tv on a flexible bracket allowing it to face the bed or sofa with great views. Kitchen was provided with all equipment (and bbq utensils) with adequate lounge space. Plenty of storage for your clothes and items. Shower is a very good pressure with controllable temperature. Great Wi-Fi signal. Quiet scenery. Amazing views. Surrounded by warm spot lights around the path and lodge. Welcome handbook had all the information Needed including local restaurants and there menus. Bus times. Use directions for hot tub. Towels/soaps/bin bags/washing up liquid/cloths/sponge and a torch if your going out at night all provided. Lots of plug sockets and USB sockets available. Great distance away from neighbouring lodges. Secluded lodge with Private lake area. Can be designed yourself to any occasions. On this occasion it was my 24th birthday. We used the hot tub/fire pit/bbq. I would like to personally thank Brendan for making our stay unforgettable for all the right reasons. We will definitely be back in the summer. 1000% recommended to everyone.

My partner and I very rarely get a weekend to ourselves, so we used my partners birthday as the perfect excuse. We came across Bridge Lake farm and fishery by chance whilst looking for somewhere quiet to get away. We fell inlove with the photos and the price was great aswell. We booked up straight away.We travelled up from Bristol to be far from disappointed. We couldn't believe our eyes. It was even more stunning than the pictures online. Brendan (owner) greeted us at the entrance in a buggy to take us to our accommodation. He couldn't of been anymore welcoming and friendly. The accommodation was immaculate and had everything we needed. It was full of nature and pretty views. The local pub The George and Dragon is only a short walk away. Which we went to visit for a meal the Saturday evening. The locals were very friendly and very helpful. We are already deciding when to go back! Thankyou Brendan for making our weekend one to remember!
