The village has a post office with a well-stocked store for self-catering. Bicester village's shopping park is south of the village and filled with stores and restaurants for a fun day out. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy exciting expeditions in Bucknell Woods, Silverstone, while history buffs can visit Farnborough Hall and Deddington. Families should visit Crocodiles of the World, Woburn Safari Park, and Gulliver's Dinosaur and Farm Park. Banbury and Royal Leamington Spa are nearby, and the village is close to Oxford, making it a great base for exploring Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, and Oxfordshire.

Have just spent 2 nights at Bridge lake farm staying in willow Lodge. The wife booked it as a surprise anniversary get away. Absolutely fantastic setting. 6 separate accommodations set around a lake each with its own hot tub and fire pit/bbq. Everything that you might need is supplied from shower gel ,towels bath robes tea coffee milk . Even bbq tools . Only half hour drive to Stratford-upon-Avon and about 45 minutes from Clarksons farm (stopped on the way up ) to keep the wife happy ???? As we only stayed 2 nights we ate out but would definitely recommend taking bbq food . Can't fault this place in any way. Some places you go to and you think you won't go back because you have done it, we both agree this is worth another visit just for the peace and tranquility. Big thanks to Brenden and his team .

If you want to get away from it all look no further than Bridge lake farm and fishery, the perfect place to relax, soak in the hot tub, sit around the fire pit, fish from the deck or just sit and enjoy a drink whilst listening to the birds sing Brendan and the Jenkins family have done a great job making you feel relaxed for the whole of your stay.

We have just returned from a perfect 3 night escape for my birthday. The location was tranquil and quiet, the lodge was so cozy, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen had a great selection of utensils and cooking equipment to be able to cook nice meals. Brendan the owner was very welcoming and we knew if we needed anything that he was there! The hot tub was a bonus! Highly recommend bridge lake farm and fishery’s.
