Nice small cottage, well positioned in the middle of the village.. There are some negative points. The kitchen is tiny with limited work space, the settee in the living room is small and very soft you can't sit on it for long, there are alternative chairs provided. There isn't any outside space. This is clear in the description but what isn't clear is the garden in front of the cottage belongs to the next door neighbour, who hangs her washing over the railings in front of the living room window. There is parking for one car but access is tight and you have to reverse out on to the road, this can prove tricky with on coming cars and pedestrians, there is alternative parking in the village.
This cottage is a good base for exploring the Dales both by car and on foot.
