Tree Tops is situated in the centre of the seaside town of Scarborough. The apartment sleeps two people and has one double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and an open plan living area consisting of a fitted kitchen, with a dining area and a sitting area. With the North Bay and the South Bay on your doorstep and stunning coastal walks on offer, Tree Tops is a fantastic setting for your seaside holiday.

Area
The English seaside town of Scarborough has been welcoming holiday makers for many yearsand still retains many of its original fine buildings. The North Bay has a safe, sandy beach whilst the golden sands of South Bay are broken by a rocky headland on which stands Scarborough Castle. The castle was built in the reign of King Stephen and has had a rich and varied history, making it well worth exploring. Peasholm Park has a beautiful lake where all sorts of boats can be hired from rowing boats to dragon headed pedalos, and visitors can while away the time messing about on the water. There are many attractions in and around this lovely seaside town, and with its wide range of restaurants, cafÃ©s and shops, Scarborough is a marvellous centre for a family holiday.

Region
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Roadside permit for parking outside property (scratch cards will be provided for the duration of the holiday, the parking ticket can be used all day). Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk. seafront 5 mins walk. Note: No children.

This is a wonderful spot for staying in Scarborough, everything is close by and in easy walking distance. Gillian the host welcomed us on arrival like old friends. She explained how everything worked, checked in with us to see that we were ok and was only ever a phone call away if we needed anything. The accommodation was really well presented, everything was provided, we liked the layout as there were only two of us, so it felt very homely and cosy. We think Tree Tops is tops and we are already planning our next visit.

We really enjoyed our stay at Treetops.. The owner has thought of all possible needs, and the flat was warm for a March holiday. The flat has been updated and was comfortable and light. The phonecalls from the owner added a personal and welcoming touch.

The owner Gillian met us on arrival and was very helpful in advising us where the local pubs, shops, takeaways and restaurants were. She'd even taken on board that we were on public transport and gave us details of the various bus routes we needed to get out and about. There were more than adequate supplies of tea and coffee. The accommodation was very clean and bedding, towels, toilet and kitchen rolls were also supplied. We had a really good week and Gillian's mid week call to check if everything was OK was a nice touch. Gillian was such an excellent host that she even returned some washing we'd left in the machine. We'd certainly recommend this property.

Excellent apartment with all the extras needed to make a holiday stay easy.. There were ample things like towels, toilet rolls coffee, tea etc. Also when we asked if there was a cafetière and told that they didn’t currently have one Gillian immediately popped out to buy one for us. Well what can we say.. The apartment was lovely and light and airy. Plenty of room in all rooms. Everything was supplied that you would need, tea, coffee, sugar, oil, salt/pepper and sauces. Plenty of cooking utensils and essentials that were needed. Gillian is a lovely lady, she left a packet of biscuits and milk, so we had a lovely cup of tea upon arrival [it was needed]. Bed was lovely and comfortable, maybe suggest a king size quilt for the bed. Trafalgar Square, where Tree Tops is situated was nice and quiet. Bus stop at the top of the road was handy after a day out, we caught the bus home at only 50p each, what a bargain. 2 supermarkets close by, a lovely pub for Sunday lunch [The Castle Tavern], everything within walking distance. We will definitely be staying at Tree Tops again soon. Recommended.

Perfect little apartment in the heart of Scarborough, situated in a quiet street overlooking a little parc.. parkin was easy, access to the seaside within 5minutes walk. The welcoming owner was very friendly, the place very clean. And the tv (see an earlier review) is replaced by a state of the art flatscreen. Highly recommended stay for a holiday near the coast.

I had a lovely holiday at Tree Top, Gillian was there to meet me and had made sure I had everything that I needed to start my holiday by provide tea, coffee milk and lovely biscuits.. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need including a dishwasher and a washing machine. The flat is located close to the beach and the castle. The town is about 5 minutes away, and best of all I had lovey weather I hope you do too

The flat was small but otherwise fine.. Gillian, the owner, was very nice so no problems except for the television. It was a little old set, the usb port didn't work and the dvd player kept jumping. I cannot understand why there are so many rubbish televisions in self catering properties. I have stayed with Sykes 4 times now, twice with my sister, and three out of the four had a television we would have thrown out. The point of self catering is that if you just want to stay in and chill you can do, so how come the television is not given a thought. Gillian, I would suggest the purchase of a new set post haste! and all you other property owners take note. This is a relatively cheap purchase, get your acts together and Sykes please give it some attention.

This is the second time my partner and I have stayed at Tree tops and as last year we had a great time.. The flat is owned by a lovely lady called Gillian who pulls out all the stops to make your stay wonderful providing lots of extras such as milk, tea, coffee, sugar, oil for cooking, paper towels, washing liquid in fact there are so many its too many to list. The flat is bright and spacious with lovely views over the community gardens, in the kitchen area there are the usual white goods of a fridge and cooker as well as a dishwasher and washing machine. There is also a generous supply of crockery and cutlery. The sitting room area has a sofa, Tv and dvd player plus table and 2 chairs. In the bedroom there is the largest wardrobe I have ever seen so plenty of room for your clothes. Situated in Trafalgar Square in north Scarborough this flat is in a great position as it is near enough to the town centre for all the facilities but in a quieter part of Scarborough where parking is easier. This is a great flat and I highly recommend it.

There are some excellent buses that run in all directions from Scarborough.. You can get the inter town ones from the town centre, and you can get there from a stop on the main road adjacent to the flat.

It is in a perfect location to access all the sites in Scarborough with a short walk and also comfortable enough to stop in when the weather was bad.. Theres really nothing to complain about, its just perfect for a couples holiday.

The apartment is on Trafalgar Square, a 10 minute walk to town and a similar distance to the North Bay. It is a cosy, well-equipped apartment, ideal for a couple. Booking was easy, and the owner was there to greet us and show us the ropes. A huge bonus (for us) was having 2 excellent restaurants within a short walk: Kam Sang (Chinese, on North Marine Road) and the even better AZ Turkish restaurant on Columbus Ravine. Peasholm Park and Scarborough cricket ground are also close by. Recommended as a reasonably priced, one bedroom/ one living room apartment.

It was nice to meet the owner on arrival.. She offered to make us tea and was very informative about the flat and environs.

My partner and I loved our time at tree tops; it had everything we needed. There is a cafe which does a fantastic breakfast at the end of the street, the shops are nearby and the pier is within walking distance. We will definitely be returning!

First time we've booked a town centre flat but key entry and parking scratch card arrangements could not have been better after helpful contact with owner.. The flat was very comfy with great access to local amenities such as Peaseholm Park, walks along the the prom and loads of restaurants within walking distance. The flat also proved a great centre for visits along coast to Staithes, Whitby, Bridlington etc. and inland to National Yorks Moors Park. Excellent autumn holiday!
