A brilliant location, great value for money and a cosy get away for 3 nights!
We stayed here with 2 family members for the first night then it was just myself, my partner and our dog. We really loved using this as our base, with lots of local footpaths and attractions close by (Mash, Brimham rocks, Ripon etc). The lodge had everything you could need, including cutlery, jigsaws, TVs in bedrooms and books. There's a little sense of community feel to the lodge too if you get talking to others on the site.
A couple of things to note - no DVD player in the central living room for those wanting to cuddle up and watch a film on tv/as a family. The dishwasher didn't seem to work, however could have been us not understanding how to use it! The rooms were clean but we found the main table sticky and the main living area could have done with a thorough hoover. There is no phone signal (which we loved!) but we were a little concerned with safety. Minimal contact was nice, with the use of a safe key box.
We would absolutely recommend to others, especially if you want a little trip away with dogs!
