A city rich in Medieval history, we'd recommend a visit to Norwich's famous 11th-century market. Or have a stroll around Norwich Lanes and its independent boutiques. Other attractions include the smallest pub in the UK and Norwich Cathedral, while a little further afield, Whitlingham Lake is worth a look, especially if you like water activities such as kayaking and canoeing.

Back at this home, pour a glass of wine and stroll through the grey-painted French doors into the pretty courtyard garden with its climbing plants meandering up the walls.
