The living areas in this single-storey property consists of an open-plan kitchen equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, a dining area and a sitting area with TV and DVD player. The bedrooms consist of a double and a twin, along with a bathroom. Outside there is a shared courtyard garden with furniture, as well as off-road parking for two cars. Within 0.2 miles you will find a shop, and within 0.5 miles, a pub, and within 0.3 miles, the beach, and please note that this is a pet-free and smoke-free property. WiFi, fuel, power and bed linen are all included in the price. Whisk your loved ones away on a retreat to 5d Hideways in Norfolk. Note: Sat-Sat bookings between April-October. Area
On the western side of the East Norfolk Coastline is the award-winning seaside community of Hunstanton, also known as Sunny Hunny, which is recognised for its breathtaking ocean sunsets. Hunstanton is a wonderful holiday resort for families. The seashore with promenade includes bowling, golfing, a leisure centre, pitch-and-putt, Esplanade Gardens, theatre, clean, sandy beaches, donkey rides, and sea tours in an amphibious vessel in addition to rock and candyfloss booths, funfair rides, a sealife sanctuary, bowling, golfing, and bowling. Numerous events are hosted throughout the year in the town, and on Sunday afternoons a band frequently plays at the bandstand on the green next to the beach, serenading visitors and sunbathers. You come across the vividly coloured cliff walls with intriguing rock pools as you go along the beach in the direction of Old Hunstanton. Along with kite and wind surfers, sunbathers frequent the beach at Old Hunstanton. A wide range of attractions, including NT properties, market towns, and flint villages, are located within a 20-mile radius and have plenty to offer every member of the family.

Everything was fine but we felt the window blinds lacked privacy.. If you put them up for daylight then anyone can see straight in. Obviously other occupants felt the same as every one left their blinds closed also

Lovely little gem about 3 minutes walk to beach.. Very clean! Not in the most glamorous of areas but great base for exploring the north norfolk coast by car.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Hideaways and were very sad to leave. The location itself is absolutely fantastic - walk down the short driveway and you can immediately see the lively seafront; however, once you are back in the lovely courtyard in front of the apartments, you feel really tucked away. The apartment itself was lovely: really tastefully decorated, wonderful high ceiling, excellent kitchen, lovely bathroom with excellent, powerful shower (which is always a plus) and bath, The bedrooms were great with a comfortable double in one room and two singles in another. There was a TV with freeview and Netflix/YouTube and comfortable, recliner couches. Outside in the courtyard there are chairs and tables to sit outside and this we enjoyed doing of an evening, together with the other guests. The owner clearly takes pride in their property and it shows. One thing to possibly note if you require Wifi is that it wasn't brilliant in all parts of our apartment: mainly being decent in the kitchen and outside in the courtyard and I assume that this is due to the location of the router. It would have been the icing on the cake to have had better coverage; however, we would DEFINITELY book again regardless. I cannot speak highly enough of the apartment and it definitely helped to make our holiday.

As with a number of feedbacks this property fails to meet expectations.. No hairdryer and only one towel for seven days which is totally unacceptable. The owners were on the side constantly each day as if spying on what we were doing, very unnerving. There was no welcome pack not even a pint of milk. No bleach for the toilet No toilet paper past one day Broken light bulbs Failed remote control batteries Cold un fitting doors

Good quality overall.. Very comfortable unit. FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE ONLY, NOT FOR PUBLICATION/ Only helpful suggestion would be for more lighting by sofas for reading as the nights are dark now. The blinds in the double bedroom were the only thing not successful. Artificial lighting on next plot were on all night and the blinds were not up to keeping this at an acceptable level for sleeping. Had to use a towel over eyes.

Hunstanton is a lovely place and this cottage was very close to all amenities and excellent for walking out of the door.. Hosts were very helpful. Mostly well equipped but could have done with a hairdryer and sieve. These are minor points as overall the facilities were excellent.

Our 4th time staying at 5d Hideaways didn’t disappoint.. This comfortable, clean, spacious accommodation and all Hunstanton and North Norfolk have to offer, keeps us coming back. The house is well equipped and everything we needed was available. The only one thing that has been an issue for us is the lack of curtains in the bedrooms. It can be very bright, very early. Being so close to all the amenities in Hunstanton but far enough away from the fair etc is a plus. Highly recommend and I’m sure we’ll be back.

I took my 90 year old Mum on holiday and 5D Hideaways was perfect for all our needs a real home from home and close to all the arcades and the Town but yet set away from everything so was really peaceful.. Once we had arrived at our destination, we were delighted with the situation.. Quiet and private; (but, doubtful that this would be the case in high season with windows and doors open). Good simple, but classy deco. Seating and beds very comfortable. Very good idea to have the 'clutter' of paperbacks, toys and household paraphernalia etc housed elsewhere.

We’ve just returned from our second visit to 5d with our two children aged 3 and 5. Our first visit was four years ago with a toddler. On both visits the property has been clean and well maintained with everything we needed and more. The location is fantastic with the supermarket, pub, fair, leisure centre, town centre and beach all within walking distance with small children. We also enjoyed an amazing day out at Roarr visiting the dinosaurs and at the beautiful old Hunstanton beach. I would highly recommend a visit to this very family friendly town and a stay at 5d.

We’ve stayed at hideaways twice now four years apart; once with a toddler and once with a 5 and 3 year old.. On both visits the accommodation has been exactly as described; clean and well maintained with everything we needed. The location is fantastic, with lots of things to do within walking distance. This time we visited Roarr; the dinosaurs were amazing and we highly recommend a visit. Our children loved the fair and a visit to the beautiful old Hunstanton beach. A great location for young children and fantastic accommodation from which to explore it. Thank you for a great stay.

Situated a short walk to the beach, supermarket and a good simple restaurant.. Parking was safe and secure. Cottage was clean and mostly had what is needed. My grandchildren visited and the cottage even had toys they could play with! WIFI was a bit patchy but was fine when it worked. Overall I was delighted with this property.

We have just had a week`s winter break with friends at Hideaway, and would highly recommend this property.. We had the coldest week of the winter so far, but found the cottage so warm and cosy. The furnishings were of a high quality with nice finishing touches of tasteful pictures and ornaments. The location was ideal being just a few minutes walk to the promenade into town. A Tesco supermarket just a few minutes away also. The only problem we encountered was the fact that there is no hanging space in the double bedroom. Luckily, we anticipated this due to previous reviews and took a small clothes rail with us. Not a great problem but could be if not aware of the fact. All in all, a great place to stay.

We booked all four cottages 5A-D for a family holiday. The gate meant the little children were safe to play outside in the ample courtyard and it was very close to the beach. We used this as a base for our weeks holiday and found it to be perfect for this. The owner was on the end of the phone and popped down if there was an issue and was great at suggesting places to take the children. If you are looking for a holiday in Hunstanton I would definitely recommend Hideaways.

The property was Great, nice and clean - and pretty well all the facilities we needed.. Location was great, easy walking distance to Beach, Local supermarket and town, we spent a couple of days where we left the car at the property and just walked everywhere. Would definitely go on out list to consider a return visit.

We would happily recommend this excellent accommodation. Tastefully decorated and well furnished with everything you might need. Hunstanton itself is not the sort of place we would normally choose to stay, but we were visiting relatives! so if you do like a traditional seaside town with fun fairs, fish and chips and amusement arcades then this would be an excellent place to stay. If the cottage was located in Old Hunstanton we would not hesitate to stay there again as the area has a completely different vibe! Our only complaint was that the owners need to sort out the wifi and put new batteries in the t.v. Controller!

A beautiful cabin-style cottage with everything you could need for a short or long stay. Spotlessy clean. Two good-size bedrooms. Comfortable throughout. Light and airey. Good location for the coast or for travelling around North and West Norfolk and beyond. Cannot fault it.
