The bedrooms consist of a double and a twin, along with a Shower room. Outside there is a shared courtyard garden with furniture, as well as off-road parking for two cars. Within 0.2 miles you will find a shop, and within 0.5 miles, a pub and please note that this is a pet-free and non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power and bed linen are all included in the price. 5b Hideways is an idyllic base for families or friends to gather in the lovely setting of Norfolk. Note: Towels are not included.

Area
On the western side of the East Norfolk Coastline is the award-winning seaside community of Hunstanton, also known as Sunny Hunny, which is recognised for its breathtaking ocean sunsets. Hunstanton is a wonderful holiday resort for families. The seashore with promenade includes bowling, golfing, a leisure centre, pitch-and-putt, Esplanade Gardens, theatre, clean, sandy beaches, donkey rides, and sea tours in an amphibious vessel in addition to rock and candyfloss booths, funfair rides, a sealife sanctuary, bowling, golfing, and bowling. Numerous events are hosted throughout the year in the town, and on Sunday afternoons a band frequently plays at the bandstand on the green next to the beach, serenading visitors and sunbathers. You come across the vividly coloured cliff walls with intriguing rock pools as you go along the beach in the direction of Old Hunstanton. Along with kite and wind surfers, sunbathers frequent the beach at Old Hunstanton. A wide range of attractions, including NT properties, market towns, and flint villages, are located within a 20-mile radius and have plenty to offer every member of the family.

Fabulous location.. Easy reach of all amenities, five minute walk to seafront, pub/restaurant, supermarket and ten minute level walk to town/shops. The fairground was literally on the doorstep but we were never bothered with any noise whatsoever. The accommodation was spotless and very comfortable and well laid out with a separate area with a shared washing machine and chest freezer. The setting is excellent, central but secluded for privacy. The outdoor seating area is great with a suntrap setting. This was a great base for exploring the wee gems of Norfolk and the local area. The owners left us some helpful tips on local eating places and we were never disappointed. The seafront promenade was excellent for walking to town and was clean as a whistle. The local council were out every morning sanitising all benches and hand-railings due to the current Covid-19 situation and gave us great peace of mind in these challenging times, well done Hunstanton Council. This was a great location for a short or extended break and we will certainly recommend it and we would not hesitate to return here. We will certainly recommend Sykes to our friends and family as their team were on the ball from start to finish with regular updates and advice for our holiday, well done, 10 out of 10.

A nice property in a good location for the seafront and just a short walk from the centre of Hunstanton.. A Tesco supermarket is a 5 minute walk away as are bus stops for the excellent Coastliner service. The cottage has most things you'll need for a short stay but 'frequent flyers' with Sykes will realise that this is basic accommodation and the welcome pack, for example, is limited to just a few typed sheets of information. Simple additions like hooks behind doors, a toilet roll holder, blackout blinds for the bedroom windows, appliance instructions etc could improve the overall experience.

Very nice cottage in a quiet location.. Close to shops, places to eat, Tesco supermarket and beach. There are two arcade places near by but we never heard any noise/music from them in our cottage, there is also the large funfair nearer in to Hunstanton but this was only open during the day at the weekend and again we did not hear any noise from it but this could be different during the summer months. All in all we were very happy with our stay in this cottage and will most likely return here next year.

Stopped here for a week with a friend. It was ideal as there was separate bedrooms for us and plenty of space in the lounge area. Everywhere was clean and lots of things to make the stay easier for example a dishwasher, plenty of crockery,cutlery etc. There was also a washing machine if you chose to use it along with a washing line and pegs. It was quiet in our abode but neighbours said it was a little noisy some nights from the car park to the chip shop nearby. All in all I would definitely recommend this property and hopefully return again as there is are lots of places of interest to visit from here and what better place to stay than here.

This is the first time booking with Sykes so was slightly apprehensive.. We needn't have worried. Everything went smoothly, from booking, right through to the holiday itself. The cottage is in a perfect location and just 5mins walk from Hunstanton beach and with the town and supermarket within walking distance too. Great holiday. Would recommend the cottage.

This was a lovely clean, comfortable and spacious holiday home.. Short walk to Tescos and a short drive to Sainsburys. About half a mile to Hunstanton, with plenty of shops and a lovely fish and chip shop just round the corner. We found that the double bed was comfortable but because there was a slate floor throughout the bed would start rolling down the bedroom because the head board was connected to the wall not the bed, and the bed had castors. Rugs would be nice at side of bed as floor was cold when getting out of bed. A shower mat and soap dish would have been nice in the bathroom. The shower worked really well and the heating was also very good. I would have scored this place 10 if it was not for these few things.

Everything about the accommodation was absolutely fantastic! We could not have wanted anything more. It was situated very close to the beach and all of the amenities with Tesco being just across the road and Sainsbury's being only a short walk away. Considering how close it was to everything it was remarkably peaceful, especially in the shared courtyard where we spent most of our nights having a peaceful and relaxing drink as well as dining outside a few nights during our holiday. The owners were extremely helpful and very friendly and we found that nothing was ever too much for them. The one thing that we found a lovely touch was the welcome pack that we had when entering the accommodation which contained lots of lovely information about the local area as well as recommending restaurants and cafes. Also, there were a wide range of leaflets about attractions that were relatively local which was a very nice touch. Overall, our holiday was amazing and we would definitely recommend the accommodation to anyone who wants to explore this lovely area or simply wants a relaxing place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The cottage has eveything you need and very clean. We loved the high ceilings with oak beams. The cottage is 5 to 10 minutes to beach depending on your walking pace, the pub around the corner has a good selection of food and offers 2 for 1 meals. Tesco is nearby to stock up your kitchen. The cottage was an ideal base for our daily travels. We had a very enjoyable holiday and would like to thank the owners for being welcoming and friendly.
