Head upstream along the 'Ant' from Ludham and stop off at How Hill to stretch your legs or have a picnic, or cruise a little further to Sutton and visit the Museum of the Broads which is accessible by boat or road. At Hickling there are plenty of opportunities to bird watch or walk.
