If you want to stay right in the heart of Liverpool, this apartment is a great pick. It’s just a short walk from the shops in the city centre, the many eateries along Bold Street, and the city's famous cathedral. Set on a cobbled street, it looks out toward the famous St Luke’s Church – known locally as the 'bombed-out church' – which often hosts outdoor events including open-air cinemas and festivals. Inside, it’s simple but functional, with space to cook, dine and relax after a day exploring.

Home truths:
*The host does not allow groups of guests under the age of 25.
*Upon arrival, you’ll need to collect the keys from a local Keynest shop, which is a five-minute walk away. It’s open 6am to 2am Monday to Thursday, 6am to midnight on Friday, and 24 hours on weekends. Please let the host know in advance if you'll be arriving outside these hours, so that alternative arrangements can be made.
*The host may need to access the home during busy periods to carry out maintenance. They'll always give 24 hours' notice, unless it's an emergency.
*This home was purpose-built for rentals, so it's not the most soulful or charming space.
