This home places you in the heart of Liverpool’s historic Georgian Quarter. You’ll be surrounded by outstanding architecture and cobbled streets, and within walking distance of many of the city’s must-sees. The apartment is situated at basement level, so there isn’t an abundance of natural light, but we think the homely decor makes up for that. Centred around an open-plan living area – where guests three and four will sleep at full occupancy – the home boasts a comfortable lounge for relaxing evenings in, and a well-equipped kitchen for when you’re not eating out at one of the nearby restaurants. We think this place is a great find for a couple or solo traveller wanting a fuss-free base in an interesting location.

*At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
*There are two flights of steps leading down to the front door here. It might not be the best option for those with reduced mobility.
*While we love the overall design of this home, it is a basement apartment so is lacking in natural light.
*Groups of young people under the age of 25 are not allowed at this home.
*Parking in Liverpool can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to easily accessible public transport where possible.
*There’s a rare chance your host might need to carry out maintenance work during your stay – advance notice would be given.
