Heron Lodge is a stunning, luxury bungalow situated in the town of Spilsby in Lincolnshire. This cottage has three spacious bedrooms, the double having an en-suite, a bathroom and a huge open-plan living area with kitchen, dining, breakfast bar and sitting area. Surrounded by superb woodland with a lake just in front of the property where you fish, Heron Lodge is of a calm and peaceful nature, the perfect place to bring family or friends on holiday.

Over one floor. Three bedrooms: 1 x twin, 1 x single 1 x double with en-suite shower room, shower, basin and WC. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Open-plan living area with kitchen, breakfast bar, dining, sitting area and utility.

Area
The market town of Spilsby sits midway between Horncastle and the coast, offering a range of pubs, independent shops and a selection of eateries, all set amongst traditional streets. The town is surrounded by countryside and villages worthy of exploring, whilst Horncastle is just 15 minutes’ drive away, renowned for its shops and antiques centres where you’re certain to pick up a reminder of your time in this lovely location. Spend the afternoon at Snipe Dale Country Park, which offers 200 acres of countryside with way marked trails, picnic areas and a variety of wildlife. Or head east to find yourself beside the sea within a 20-minute drive, where you’ll find Skegness with its traditional seaside attractions.

Thank you so much for a wonderful and relaxed weeks holiday in a lovely quite surroundings and can only be described as a 5+ plus rated Heron Lodge in Mavis Enderby Lakes Lincoln. We have been to many lake side accommodation's in the past, but our stay with Heron Lodge surpasses, them all from the moment we were greeted on arrival to when we left. Also complementary food was provided, really enjoyed the Plum Bread. Many thanks Denise and Andrew

It was our 51st wedding anniversary and we could not have chosen better accommodation.. We have hired properties through Sykes before and have never been disappointed but Heron lodge was the pinnacle. Andy and Denise were perfect hosts. Andy was checking drains at the lodge on a freezing Sunday evening, a real star. It's a pity we cannot hire the lodge in high season, a little beyond our means. Cannot recommend this property enough. We've had a lovely time in this beautifully furnished lodge.. Everything was immaculate, fresh, cosy and clutter free. Very well equipped with everyday essentials. Denise and Andy were such welcoming hosts, who weren't intrusive at all . They left us with a hamper and milk which we thought was very thoughtful, considering it was a last minute booking. Their cottage is next to Heron lodge, but it is positioned in such a way that only the rooftop can be seen from the lodge. We've had a very relaxing time and enjoyed strolling around the lakes, which were very beautiful. A must see are the many beaches- especially during sunrise. We shall definitely be returning in the near future- but for a week as 3 days was just not enough!

Heron Lodge has everything required, just like home from home.. The use of the grounds was enjoyed several times during our stay. The owners were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble to them. Heron Lodge is a lovely base to explore the area. Had a great week.

If you are looking for a quiet relaxing home from home then this is the place to book.. The pictures do not do it justice. As you amble down a very long drive from the road you are instantly forced into a state of relaxation as it is tranquil and inviting. The grounds are just spectacular and go on for acres after acres combined with i think at least 4 lakes. The house - bungalow itself is very well appointed and finished to a high standard. It has all the required facilities and some, you will not need to pack the hair drier either. The hosts are very welcoming and extremely nice - inviting. I didn't want to give a review as we would like to keep this treasure to ourselves for future visits. The nearest town with all the amenities and shops is all but a very short drive. Lots of lovely eateries in the area too. Njoy...

Heron lodge is a beautiful new property which is extremely well equipped.. It is in a perfect setting especially for nature lovers as there are extensive walks around lakes with plenty of wildlife. Andy and Denise were the perfect hosts, friendly and helpful without being intrusive. A welcome pack for making tea and coffee on arrival plus a delicious Lincolnshire plum loaf was just what we needed after a long journey. All the finishing touches made the property very homely and welcoming. This is the best self catering property we’ve stayed in and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lincolnshire.

Cottage was stunning everything you could possibly need and more, the owners were extremely helpful and friendly, there if needed but not intrusive could not have done more.. The surroundings were beautiful, our grandsons enjoyed fishing in the Lake, will definitely be returning.

The owners were really welcoming and always there if we needed anything. Heron lodge is central to all the places we visited. It was nice to be in a place where we could access a variety of things to do in the surrounding towns & villages as well as going to beach in Skegness.
