The Old School is a lovely converted former school room situated in the small village of Hatton just three and a half miles from Wragby in Lincolnshire. The cottage can sleep four people in one ground floor double and one mezzanine family room with one small double and one single as well as family shower room. Also in the cottage is an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburner. Outside is a patio with furniture. The Old School is a superb property to use as a base for touring this beautiful part of the country.

Wragby is a small town surrounded by Lincolnshire countryside, a short drive from the city of Lincoln itself. The town is the home of the ‘Rout Yard’ the remains of two 19th century manors, the 19th century Grade II listed church of All Saints, and a tall tower mill, built in 1831 by the millwright Ingledew. Wragby offers three friendly local pubs, a fish shop, a café, and a restaurant, with a regular bus service linking it to Horncastle and the coastal town of

TV could have been a bit bigger.. Good stock of logs for the fire was lovely. Cooking facilities were very good. There wasn’t an outdoor recycling bin so had to leave recycling in the small indoor bin. Overall decor was to a very high standard and we enjoyed our stay

Perfect. A beautiful conversion of an old school into a luxurious holiday cottage.. We loved the attention to detail - the nod to the old school as we discovered the satchel and wheelie toy dog but also the stylish Christmas touches with the tree, lights, candles & subtle nativity scene. All the mod cons - power shower, central heating, dish washer & plenty of plug sockets but also the opportunity to experience a bit of life from the past at the old school with bringing in wood for a log file and long healthy walks to the nearest town. My friend and I needed to get away from modern life and the old school with its beautiful period features and contemporary but complementary decoration was more than we could have expected. Perfect. Thank you.

The Old School was a perfect base to explore Lincolnshire.. The cottage is one of the best cottages we’ve ever stayed in, even better than the photos suggest. It was like something out of a Country Homes magazine. It has been very well converted and the finish and attention to detail is fantastic, it still has the old school bell. We would love to return in the summer to make use of the sun loungers on the private patio area! I have already recommended this cottage to friends and family.

The school house was really excellent particularly for an old school teacher.. We had some wonderful sun rises and sunsets as well as all the pheasants and cows. It was also within easy reach of so.many places.

Property was beautifully restored and very well equipped for a self catering holiday.. It was clean and had good quality furniture to make for a comfortable stay. Also noticeable there was plenty of supply of daily items such as toilet roll, bin liners, kitchen cleaners, kitchen foil etc.. We’ve taken many self catering let’s where this has not been the case and these small things add up to a much better overall experience.

Whilst we really loved the house and inside space, we felt that the outside space provided limited options for relaxing.. We also found the Wifi very flaky, but this could well be down to the rural location.

We both enjoyed the peace and quiet, living on a housing estate and both having stressful jobs this means an awful lot.. Every day we were visited by the ducks, cows and the pheasants and sitting in the garden listening to all the birds was amazing. Came home feeling very rested and relaxed, the perfect place to re-charge the batteries.

The Old School has been converted in a very stylish and attractive way keeping many original features including the old bell and coat hooks.. It was very warm and comfortable with a manual explaining absolutely everything you may wish to know. Its situation ensured it was a quiet and peaceful holiday but within easy driving distance of interesting places to visit.

This is a really lovely property in a quiet location.. If you’re a keen cook, take some of your own utensils as the kitchen isn’t brilliantly equipped. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay. Comfortable, peaceful yet within easy reach of lots of interesting places.

This is a great holiday home for a large family with children.. We had a really good time there and didn't have to worry too much about the kids letting off steam. The property is in a good location for touring Herefordshire, and we managed to get out and about despite the awful rain.
