There is a wildlife pond with nearby seating close to the cottage and this provides a great place to sit and enjoy the peace and tranquillity, also nearby is a private airfield originally built for WW2 and if you are lucky you will see some really unique aircrafts, as well as the home of The Red Arrows being in Lincolnshire they regularly practise in the skies over the area. Further afield Hemswell Antiques Centre is a great day out as is the city of Lincoln.
