Area In the Ribble Valley of Lancashire, this quaint, sizable community is situated between the picturesque Pendle Hill and the Forest of Bowland AONB. The Whalley Viaduct and the beautiful gatehouse of the 14th-century abbey remains are two examples of the outstanding architecture found at Whalley. A golf club is also located on the village's outskirts, along with a variety of stores and pubs. There are many delightful market towns nearby that are worth visiting for their quaint stores, pubs, and architecture; Clitheroe and Burnley are two of the nearest and most well-known. If you want to take a typical day excursion to the beach, you can alternatively drive to Blackpool's west coast.
