Outside there is a wrap-around veranda with decking, furniture and barbecue, off-road parking, and further communal parking. You'll find a shop in 1 mile, and pub in 0.2 miles, and Pine Lake in 1.4 miles. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the price. Underneath Warton Crag, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the picturesque village of Warton offers a post office, as well as two traditional pubs serving fine ales and food, and is bounded to the north by the Lake District and to the east by the Yorkshire Dales. Excellent hiking is available in the area, and the Lancaster Canal is easily accessible. Also nearby are the RSPB Nature Reserves at Leighton Moss and Morecambe Bay. Carnforth, a nearby town, provides a good selection of services, as do Kirkby Lonsdale, Kendal, and Windermere; plus, there are great connections to the rest of the Lake District, the Eden Valley, and the Yorkshire Dales via road.
