It provides two bedrooms comprising of a super king-size and a double, there is also a family bathroom, the property can sleep four people. Inside you will also find a kitchen and a living/dining room. To the front of the property there is plenty of off road parking, a shared front patio and a lawned area with furniture. The Hen House is a charming cottage in a wonderful Lancashire location. Please note this property is on the site of a retail plant nursery which is open from mid March- end of June.

This village is part of Thornton-Cleveleys near the coast of Lancashire. Thornton has a small variety of amenities and offers excellent access to the area. You can visit the beach at Thornton-Clevely, the countryside walking and cycling at the Forest of Bowland and the seaside resort of Blackpool to name a few.

Hen house was perfect for our trip.. The house was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented and had everything we needed. They have really thought about everything and the little details, like games and washing up liquid, made our stay easy and enjoyable. We used it over a few stormy, wet days so it was great to return to a warm and comfortable ‘home from home’ after our trips out. It has a good outside space, which was perfect for our dog and ample parking too. Annette and Ray were helpful, friendly and easy to contact. We would definitely recommend!

The Hen House was Amazing it had the comforts of home and the owners were great hosts.. As soon as we arrived they greeted us offered MILK for tea and gave us information of the local area and sights. The Hen House was comfy and had everything you could need the owner had an issue with the washing machine in our cottage but gave us a key to the other cottage to use this one and even offered for us to use her own. A wonderful holiday and a wonderful setting with helpful owners and a great patio to enjoy the weather.
