Holiday home
2 forms part of a converted barn, sat on the outskirts of Thornton in Lancashire. It provides two bedrooms; a king-size, and a single with an optional pull-out, together with a family shower room, the property can sleep up to four people. The interior also includes a kitchen and a living/dining room. To the outside you will find plenty of off road parking, a front patio area and a lawned area with furniture. 2 is a well-located cottage perfect for families. Please note this property is on the site of a retail plant nursery which is open from mid March- end of June.

All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x king-size, 1 x single bed with 1 x pull out bed. Shower room with basin and WC. Kitchen. Living/dining room.

Area
A village, part of Thornton-Cleveleys on the Lancashire coast. Thornton offers a small selection of amenities as well as great access to the local area. Nearby there is a beach and amusement arcade at Thornton-Cleveley, yachting on the River Wye and walking, cycling, countryside and wildlife in the Forest of Bowland AONB. You can also visit Blackpool five miles away, a fun day out for everyone.

Region
The North West of England has something for every discerning traveller. Whether it is the fabulous sandy beaches of its famous seaside resorts or the historic backdrop of some of the country's oldest cities, it has something for everyone.

Electric heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview. Power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Ample off road parking. Shared front patio and side lawn with furniture. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1 mile. Please note this property is on the site of a retail plant nursery which is open from mid March- end of June.

The 2nd bedroom had children's bunk beds in .. In the description it was advertised with a single bed with a pull out underneath. We really needed the single bed. Other than that couldn't fault the cottage.

The dishwasher was not working in the cottage, which wasn’t a massive issue and we did inform the proprietor for future reference.. The Bathroom/Shower room is very small and not quite adequate for a family with 2 small children especially when trying to shower them which means that someone is stuck behind the door. There was a lot of dust behind the double bed in the main bedroom (we had to pull this out to find my ring which I dropped). I think this needs some attention in the forms of hoovering and dusting. Bedroom 2 is described on Sykes Cottages as having a single bed with a optional pull out bed. There is actually a set of bunk beds in this room so this was a little misleading. Apart from the above we had a lovely stay and would come again.
