Had a great stay at Bowland, (don't follow the sat nav like we did ! Look for the Bowland sign before turning right.) Road to it ,is very uneven so be prepared for a bumpy ride down!
Lovely welcome from Phil and Clare, flowers ,fizz and biscuits on arrival, tea, coffee, sugar and pint of milk plus various spices for cooking in the well equipped kitchen with big dining table which is great to all sit around.
Loved the log burner, the kids in the group enjoyed the pool and air hockey table, plus lots of other games in the cupboard. What I will say is that despite Phils great efforts on a baby gate I don't think the property is suitable for under 3's as there are a lot of steps and the gap under rail on the top communal area is large enough for a child to fall through.
Beds very comfy, some bedrooms were cold and you can't up the temperature as the heating is controlled by the owner which left us with an 80 year old and 7 year old in cold rooms. Also the WiFi wasn't great so struggled to watch movies.
Overall a lovely house and we had a lovely stay
