Lakeside Retreat consists of an open-plan living space with a Smart TV, electric fire, dining seating for four, and a kitchen with an electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, and toaster. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with a Smart TV and en-suite bathroom and a twin, serviced by a shower room. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included. Travel cot and highchair are available. Outside, there is an enclosed front decking with furniture and off-road parking for two cars. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1 mile, on-site pub 0.1 miles. Lakeside Retreat offers a splendid retreat, whatever time of year. Note: There are three steps down from the decking to the exterior. Note: Guests have access to a range of on-site facilities for an additional cost, including a heated indoor swimming pool, restaurant, gym, café, and fishing; please arrange activities at reception. Located just off the M6 and 20 miles south of the scenic Lake District, Carnforth is the sort of place that everyone has heard of, and many desire to discover this hidden gem. Situated at the north end of Morecambe Bay, north of the historic town of Lancaster, 15 miles from the winding lanes of the Yorkshire Dales and a hop and a skip from the Lake District, it is close to absolutely everywhere! Other local attractions include Greenlands Farm Village for crafts, local produce, a play area, café and a garden centre. The lovely area just north of Carnforth has tidal sands bordering the huge expanse of Morecambe Bay. It offers plenty of pleasant walks and opportunity to see local birds and wildlife in this fabulous area of Lancashire. Don't forget to visit the lovely old market town of Kirkby Lonsdale where you can walk or cycle along the Lancaster to Kendal Canal nearby.
