Ventnor is a delightful small seaside resort with a range of interesting shops, excellent restaurants, public houses, wine bars and charming gardens. It has a secluded beach where you can enjoy swimming, paddling and fishing, and fresh fish can be purchased daily from the harbour. There is a lovely coastal walk linking Ventnor with Shanklin and there are many beautiful walks further inland. The larger sandy beaches of Sandown and Shanklin are just a short drive away, and you can also enjoy such hidden gems as Bonchurch and Steephill Cove. Built in 1866 by Captain Mark Huish, this fantastic property stands at the end of a small terrace of similar stone and flint houses, and offers sea views from the three upper floors. Heading up to the third floor there are two more lovely bedrooms. There s a double bedroom with sea views and a king size bed, as well as an attractive twin bedroom with 2ft 6ins beds for children. Cars can be parked outside the property when space permits and in nearby lanes.
