The Cottage is located in the small, rural village of Shorwell on the south west of the island, which is only a three mile drive from the sea and shingle beach of Brighstone.

Shorwell amenities, are just minutes away from the cottage, and include a small shop and a traditional public house with a stream. There is a playground in the village, for young children and also a playing field.
