Area This large village provides many amenities and is close to a tidal creek which leads to the Solent. There is much to see and do in the area – from the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, Queen Victoria’s Osborne House, and Quarr Abbey, to Robin Hill Adventure Park and Brickfields Horse Country. The seaside town of Ryde is 4 miles away, 6 miles of beaches and attractions including bowling and an ice rink, as well as shops, restaurants and pubs.
Region The Isle of Wight, with its beaches, unspoiled scenery, rich heritage and over 500 miles of award-winning public footpaths is a walker’s paradise, or if sailing is your thing, the renowned annual Cowes Week is not to be missed.

Lovely Setting, ideal for the dog , had a problem with a brand new hob but the landlord quickly sorted it out.. Easy to drive to places but lovely and quiet in the evenings when you want to relax.
Went with my father and Mother who had the lovely downstairs bedroom with the ensuite while we had upstairs , enjoyed our stay very much!

The Coach House is not only a beautifull place to stay but the location worked really well for us.. The house has a true wow factor and was a treat to stay in. The owners were lovely and friendly and provided everything you would need and some lovely extra touches. We were with our 3 children and our dog, the space in the house was perfect. The surrounding gardens were safe and perfect for nosey children! They loved visiting the horses, chatting to the chickens and the resident cat was a hit with our youngest daughter. We will definitely be returning!

Lovely place to stay, my children loved the animals and also the table tennis, badminton etc.. Very clean facilities, friendly family/owners, great location, highly recommend.

The opportunity for children to roam around the farmyard and adjoining fields was a bonus.. The children also liked ‘talking’ to the horses and the Hens that habitually turned up at mealtimes in the courtyard.
An electric type shower in the upper bathroom would be a good idea , but not essential.

The cottage was lovely and had a real wow factor when we walked in.. Everything we needed had be thought of and provided (even essentials for our dog!) Would recommend the cottage to anyone but it’s a base and you need to be willing and able to drive to everything.
