My husband , myself and sister in-law and her granddaughter stayed here from 18th March 2017. When my husband and myself arrived on the 18th we arrived just as the owners were going out . This was the only time we see them in the whole week we were there. We were very shocked at how close were to the owners house. The cottage is in their garden . First impressions was ok, but soon found dirty kitchen items that we had to wash before we could use them. Kitchen not very well equipped, knives were blunt they could not cut crusty bread.
Shower room very small , all had to go into bedroom to dry selves and dress.
Bunk bed mattresses were so hard, and bunk beds squeaked and rattled every movement made. Furniture over all was very basic and not very strong. TV was on a coffle table in a very strange place. My husband knocked on owners on Sunday morning 2 times to let them know sister -in -law would be arriving Sunday PM and asked where to park. There was no answer, so husband rung their phone . Very bad customer service .
Settee was flaking and only enough space for 3 persons to sit , so we had to bring in garden chair.
Floor was not very clean in living area, when we tried to hoover , the bad smell of dogs lingered from hoover. Bad smell came from oven when we used it like it was burning and needed cleaning.
We have stayed in a few cottages in Ledbury area and this is worse cottage we have stayed in.
Read some of the information in the cottage and tried to follow one of the routes on the map ,only to find it was years out of date and buildings were now built in that area.
Would not stay here again if we were paid.
